was born in 1959 years. Now she lives and works in Vilnius, in Lithuania. In 1982 years she graduated Vilnius Institute of Arts (Now VDA) . Since 1982 years she works and teaches various subjects in the departments of costume, interior design and architecture composition, material innovation and colors theory.And further, so far, it conveys its experience, knowledge, to future artists. Since 1982 years, Professor D.Brogienė at Vilnius academy of Arts, has been actively participated in to different art exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.The artist works as well known and textile artist was presented


The author believes that ornament provides not only on authentic function, but also has a mystical ceremonial beginning. Textile artist D. Brogienė is probably the only creator representing the tradition of optical art so vividly, who started her creative path and natured as an artist in Lithuania and the diaspora Kazys Varnelis and Kazimieras Žaromskis, participated and living in USA” (Curator Daliutė Ivanauskaitė-Kezienė) .
The works of the professor, the well known textile artist Danguolė Brogienė have been acquired by a division of the National Museum of Art of Lithuania of Art of Lithuania –Museum of Applied Art, and Design, textile works in public spaces and interiors, in Lithuania and abroad.
More than 300 miniatures jewellery has been purchase by private collectors: in Lithuania, USA, England, Germany, Mauritius, Japan, Denmark, Russia, Armenia and other countries
