She was born in Tehran in 1980, and .

Saeedeh studied textile designing and printing at Tehran from 2002 to 2006.

she started painting at childhood , where after taking modules such as sketching and foundations of visual arts, she became fascinated with the beauty of painting. Gillani found her interests outside the university and started painting and sketching classes for further education.

Saeideh also started out exhibiting in 2007 at different solo and group exhibition locally and internationally.

After many years of painting in realistic style, she moved forward, experimenting with abstracts in various mediums. This pushed her to expand her horizons and tap into new areas of painting she had not yet explored. There was an obvious freedom and personal expression with abstraction and it was the main reason that she really began to flourish. Saeedeh was deeply interested in the effects of color, texture and the emotional response to strong composition and design.

Gillani moved to U.S in 2015 and today she focus on visual translation of the effects of organic shapes. She brings a subtle and sophisticated feel to her paintings through a unique balance of texture and composition.
